Zack Snyder's untitled Superman/Batman film's release date moved to May 6, 2016!

This just in tonight! Warner Bros. Pictures just announced today that Zack Snyder’s untitled Superman/Batman film has been moved to May 6, 2016 (from its original release date of July 17, 2015). The production and filming was supposed to start next month, now that too has been moved to the second quarter of this year. This is a bummer 'cause instead of just another year of waiting for the release date, now it'll be another 2 long years (and 3 years after the original release date was announced). Warner Bros. sure likes to make us wait when it comes to their Superman movie. They did the same for Man of Steel (pushing it back 6 months from its original release date of December 12, 2012 to June 14, 2013and now they're doing it again! An even longer wait as it'll be 10 months away from its original release date. Ugh, I hate when they do that 'cause it kills the anticipation and excitement of the movie I was looking forward to seeing in 2015. To think I was looking forward to the filming and on set news and photos next month, only for that and the release date to be pushed back...that just sucks! Not happy with this news, but it is what it is. The waiting continues...

’s untitled Man of Steel follow-up Batman Vs. Superman starring  (Lois Lane),   (Bruce Wayne/Batman),  Gal Gadot (Diana Prince/Wonder Woman),  (Perry White), and  (Martha Kent) opens in theaters May 6, 2016.

Anyway...

Here's the official press release via Deadline:
