Today, December 10th, marks the 2 years anniversary of this blog: Lane & Kent News. 

I thought I'd make a quick and short post here just to say... THANKS a lot to all the daily visitors, readers, subscribers for checking out this blog.  It means a lot and I appreciate it.

Thank you all so much. Please keep visiting this blog as I continue to post news here on our favorite Clois actors (in various incarnations) and any L&K/Superman related news articles.

In Retrospect...

Five Years Ago today (November 2nd), my friend Carrie and I started Forever Devoted to Clois Forum (aka fd2c forum). Back in November 2nd, 2004, this forum was the very first fan shipper forum for Smallville's Clark & Lois pairing. We had very few forums and members at the time when the forum started (starting with 5 members and our goal at the time was to at least have 20-50 members...and now we have over 2,532+ members and a total of 144,621+ forum posts and counting...) including Smallville forum for Smallville episode discussions. Then, we added, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman forum, Superman @ The Movies, and many more forums followed. This forum just kept on growing (thanks to all the members, past and present who have joined and participated in various forum discussions for 5 wonderful years) and expanded to a multi-verse Clois Fan Forum community it has become today. Though this forum is not as active as it was in its first 3 years, still the forum keeps on improving, growing, and still around...thanks to those still active members and staff who continues to visit and post at the forum. Thanks to all of you (you all know who you are) and I love and appreciate each and everyone of you. Hope the forum will still be around for a very long time even after Smallville series ends as this forum is for all Lois & Clark fans of all versions.

Thanks to each and everyone of you (old/new/regular/full-time members and to all our wonderful fd2c staff members) for joining and supporting this forum for as long as this board has existed...or its now 5-year-old existence online. It means a lot and I'm very glad to have keep this [still] as my #1 priority forum to maintain/keep updated for all of you who come, visit, and post here everyday for weeks, months, a year, and now 5 years. Thank you all so much.

Carrie - As always, thank you so much for all your help on the forum banners/layout and everything else you've contributed to this forum. You have always been there when I needed your help. Hey, everyone!

Just want to let you all know that I've created an account for this blog on Twitter.com ... I'm new to this twitter thing, since I just caught up on this trend just recently after learning this from my other friends at other social networks such as myspace, facebook, friendster, livejournal, fanpop, etc., etc., lol. So, bare with me. This twitter one seems to be a lot easier to follow though than these other social networks. I haven't made a facebook page for this blog...yet. I don't know if I will as it's another thing to commit on creating and updating site/pages...I barely even have the time to update the fd2c myspace page one, lol. So, no facebook for this one anytime soon. Perhaps someday when I get a lot of extra time to spare and get bored...as my boredom often leads me to create those fun stuff on those social networks, lol.

Lane & Kent News Blog was started (and created by yours truly...!) one year ago (December 10th, 2007) today! This blog started out small, mostly just posting and archiving all the news of our favorite Lois & Clark actors (in various incarnations) and has slowly expanded to more contents throughout the year... such as the ones you can read/view in the right side bar here (ie. L&K categories, headlines, archives, upcoming tv/film project listing for Clois actors, links, L&K photos galleries, My MegaCon 2008 experience meeting 2 lovely and wonderful Lois Lane actresses: Erica Durance and Noel Neill who are featured here in this blog, etc.) esp. the Lane & Kent Photo Gallery added here to archive photos for all Clois/Superman actors.

I love, appreciate, and can't thank you all enough), past commenters (not a lot of you, but still appreciated those who left their comments on past topics/news posted here), and most of all, thanks to all the Clois fans around the world who are fans of one, any or all versions (of Lois & Clark) and the Lois & Clark actors in various incarnations (Dean Cain, Teri Hatcher, Brandon Routh, Kate Bosworth, Tom Welling, Erica Durance, Christopher Reeve, Margot Kidder , and Dana Delany) ...for without you all, this Blog wouldn't have started or made it this far.

Thank you all so much. Please keep visiting this blog as I continue to post news here on our favorite Clois actors (in various incarnations) and any L&K/Superman related news articles.

P.S. In honor of this blog's one year milestone, I changed the main header banner above ^. As you can see...I'm not very good with making banners, so that's what I ended up creating a very simple one (as well as a festive one for the post here to celebrate this milestone)...not very good and as beautiful as the previous header banner that my friend Rachel made in the past year (see her old header banner to the image cap of this blog to your right) ...but since she and my other friends/art contributors @ fd2c forum are busy and not available...for the moment, I thought I'd try and make one myself (in my-limited-and-not-so-artistic-experience with photoshop manip thingy, lol)...so there, at least I tried...better than not trying at all, right? I'll eventually change it again to a much better one...soon. This one's a temporary one (for the meantime) to celebrate this special occasion.
