New 'Man of Steel' official reward poster unlocked!

An exclusive Man of Steel reward poster (above ^ via Man of Steel's official facebook page) has been unlocked and released today in anticipation of The Dark Knight Rises December 4th release on DVD and Blu-ray.

 Also, the new trailer for the film will be attached to The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, which will be in theaters December 14th!

The new Superman film stars  (Clark Kent/Superman),  Michael Shannon, Kevin Costner (Jonathan "Pa" Kent), Diane Lane (Martha "Ma" Kent), Laurence Fishburne (Perry White), Antje Traue, Harry Lennix, Ayelet Zurer, Christopher Meloni, Richard Schiff, and Russell Crowe (Jor-El).

Man of Steel opens in 2D, 3D and IMAX on June 14, 2013.

According to Kate-Bosworth.org, looks like there's no KB movies to be released later this year. Ifensi.com reports that Kate’s latest movie The Laundry Warrior won’t be released until early 2009 because the release slots for movies for the end of this year in the US are full already.

DVD Reminder: 21 DVD/Blu-Ray Released Tomorrow!

Tomorrow (July 22nd) is the DVD released day for 21. The film will be released in a single-disc version, two-disc version and Blu-Ray version. 21 stars Jim Sturgess, Kate Bosworth, Laurence Fishburne, and Kevin Spacey.

Be sure to either rent or get your copy of this movie tomorrow esp. if you haven't seen it or missed it when it was viewing on its theater run earlier this Spring.

The Dark Knight in theaters today! Go See it!

No Superman movie this summer, unfortunately, but there's still The Dark Knight, the sequel to the 2005 hit, Batman Begins starring Christian Bale to see and it is opening in theaters nationwide today!

Christian Bale returns as the dark cape crusader Batman and his alter-ego Bruce Wayne with Michael Cain (as Alfred Pennyworth), the late Heath Ledger (as Joker), Maggie Gyleenhaal (as Rachel Dawes replacing Katie Holmes from BB), Gary Oldman (Lt. James Gordon), Morgan Freeman (Lucius Fox), and Aaron Eckhart (as Harvey Dent).

With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent, Batman sets out to destroy organized crime in Gotham for good. Go see this movie today (or this weekend)! I know I definitely will, as I loved and enjoyed Batman Begins (and I love Christian Bale. He's such a multi-talented actor). Besides the majority of film critics [it's gotten 94% in their tomatometer with over 165 Fresh reviews at RottenTomatoes.com] and Batman fans have been ranting and raving about this film. It looks to be a fantastic film just watching the trailer alone. Can't wait to see it this weekend!


L&K News Memo: I know this isn't Superman/Clois related news, but TDK/Batman is related to Superman and DC Comics. Batman is one of Superman's friends and member of the Justice League and part of DC Universe family. Not too mention Batman and Superman movies are distributed through Warner Bros. and both financed by Legendary Pictures. So, yeah...I thought I'd post this here.

As for the latest news on Man of Steel, the Sequel to the 2006 hit Superman Returns, no current news (that we don't already know) to it other than it's still in-development process and is currently "being written" and will probably start production early 2009 (for a possible 2010 release) according to Brandon Routh (aka Superman) himself.
