Tom Welling signed on for Smallville's 10th Season?
As previously posted here, Tom Welling is confirmed to returned for Smallville's Season 9 for the 2009-2010 Fall Schedule. Smallville got an early Season 9 renewal from The CW before the series' Season 8 finale episode (Doomsday, which airs this week, Thursday) is over. Now, there's news that Tom has signed on for another season of Smallville, its 10th and Season 9 hasn't even started yet. His co-star Allison Mack (Chloe Sullivan) confirmed this from her recent interview (while promoting her new Indie movie, You) on
Indiwire.com. Here's the TW/Smallville mentions...
Mack: The latest with Smallville is that we have another season [after this season’s finale on May 14]. Tom has signed for two more, so the show will go until season 10. I will be completed with my contract next year, and I am looking for new and exciting ways to carry out my character’s exit.
