According to TV Shows on DVD, Warner Home Video has released official details for the up-coming release of "Smallville: The Complete Eighth Season" on DVD and Blu-ray discs.
The 6-disc DVD collection and 4-disc Blu-ray collection both hit shelves on today (August 25, 2009).

There's a new reporter at the Daily Planet: Clark Kent, who shares a workspace with Lois Lane. There's a new hero in Metropolis, too. No one knows who he is.
