Brandon Routh's Superman Contract Expires?

According to Superman Homepage, The Brazilian entertainment news site Omelete.com.br caught up with Brandon Routh during a set visit for his up-coming film, "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" and asked him if he knew anything about the next Superman film's status. Here's is a basic Portuguese-to-English translation of parts of the report...

"I do not know of anything," said Routh. "I'm sure that Warner Bros. is moving there, but everything is still uncertain. Really, I do not know anything".

Routh also confirmed that he has no contract in place to once again embody the superhero. "The term of the contract expired. But if they call me again, I'd go back to the character without thinking twice!".
