Desperate Housewives Season 5 DVD to be released September 1st

According to TV Shows on DVD, the Complete 5th Season DVD release for Desperate Housewives will be on September 1st!

The ladies of Wisteria Lane have more shocking mysteries to unveil, as Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross, Eva Longoria-Parker, Dana Delany, and Nicollette Sheridan give their suburban neighborhood plenty to talk about.

The timeline may have jumped five years, but you won't have to wait that long for your home video fix of this series! Return to the neighborhood of Wisteria Lane in the town of Fairview on September 1st, when Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment presents the DVD release of Desperate Housewives - The Complete 5th Season. The studio has only otherwise revealed that the cost of this set will be $59.99 SRP in the US and CA $79.99 for Canadians. Stay tuned and we'll bring you further developments about this release, plus package art, just as soon as Disney makes it available!


Check out the package art for this 7-disc set, which you can see below. It's titled: "The Red Hot Edition." These 24 episodes run 1032 minutes, and will include a nice list of extras: Audio Commentaries, Bloopers, Deleted Scenes, "Cherry Picked" (creator Marc Cherry's favorite moments), a Table Read Piece, "Miss Piggy Takes Wisteria Lane," a featurette called "Teri & Cherry" and another one called "Desperate Housewives: Evolution of a Modern Classic."
