Noel Neill Celebrates 60 Years as Lois Lane

Snapped by artist Lin Workman (seen in the black cap), here are a few photos of Noel Neill and friends celebrating Noel's 60th anniversary as Lois Lane.

The cake was presented to Noel at the Phoenix Cactus Comic Con, the first of many comic conventions this year who will continue the celebration by offering their own tribute.

Noel Neill is the original Lois Lane, having starred alongside Kirk Alyn in the 1948 (and 1950) Superman serials, before returning to the role in the second season of the "Adventures of Superman" TV series with George Reeves. Most recently, Noel starred as Gertrude Vanderworth in "Superman Returns."
