Update: Teri Hatcher Wins Motion in Lip Gloss Lawsuit

TERI HATCHER's lawyers have successfully opposed a motion in a lawsuit against the "Desperate Housewives" star that was filed on Monday.

Skin-care product company Hydroderm filed a lawsuit against Hatcher on Monday, claiming that she violated an endorsement deal with them.

A judge ruled in Hatcher's favor on Thursday, denying a motion for early discovery and depositions in the suit. Read the papers here.

According to a representative for Hatcher, Judge HELEN BENDIX said that insinuations made in court by Hydroderm amounted to "character assassination" against Hatcher of the "worst kind."
