Teri Hatcher (sporting a new short curly hair style reminiscent of her famous L&C/Lois Lane do) appeared on The View Tuesday (July 3rd) where she talked about 8 years of Desperate Housewives as well as her post-DH gig on ABC Family's Jane By Design series as well as her new short hair that she said people still recognized her due to her similar short hairstyle on her Lois & Clark (see screen cap comparison below) series.

 

Also, they showed a picture of her and her now 14-year-old daughter Emerson Rose (see screen caps below).

Where has Teri Hatcher been post-Desperate Housewives? Well, just found out that Teri has booked a four-episode guest arc on ABC Family's Jane By Design series. She is playing the character Kate Quimby, the long-absent mother of the main characters Jane and her older brother Ben. Apparently, Teri's first appeared on the series briefly in last week's episode titled The Surprise for daughter Jane's birthday.
