Weekend Box Office: Henry Cavill's Immortals #1 with $32M!

's new film Immortals 3D tops this weekend's U.S. domestic box office (surpassing its distributor, Relativity Media's $26 million expectation) with an estimated gross of $32 million! Yay, great news for Henry (in his first starring/lead role in a big action film!) and Immortals! It had gotten mixed reviews (though mostly positive on Henry Cavill) on most film critics, but the majority of film goers/movie fans actually loved and enjoyed the movie enough for it to get to the top of this weekend's BO result and earning more than it was expected to make, which rightly deserves so. I saw the 3D version of the movie Saturday afternoon and I thought it was AWESOME! Henry Cavill didn't disappoint, he was superb, impressive, eye-candy, mesmerizing, and amazing in the film! Great movie! It was visually stunning (even more so on 3D) too! Go see it, if you haven't already! Henry was super-heroic (and super-hot shirtless too with those amazing abs!) in the film, which makes me wish Man of Steel is coming out a lot sooner (back to sometime next year) instead of June 14, 2013. Henry, interestingly, has that Superman-ish super-heroic presence in this film as the heroic Theseus. I kept thinking of him as Superman, which I can't wait now to see him in MOS! Is it 2013 yet?
