Tom Welling Confirmed to attend on SD Comic-Con Smallville Panel

Tom Welling will [finally] make his first public appearance on this year's San Diego Comic-Con '09!!! This was announced by a press release made by WB in which Welling also is announced as a co- Executive Producer of the show. Here is part of the announcement.

SAN DIEGO and BURBANK, Calif. (July 24, 2009) - Calling all “Smallville” fans! Series star and co-executive producer Tom Welling will make his first-ever appearance at the world’s greatest pop culture convention, Comic-Con International: San Diego, this Sunday, July 26.

Also, according to Ausiello, in addition to Welling, the panel will consist of (as previously announced) Executive Producers Kelly Souders and Brian Peterson, and Allison Mack, Erica Durance, Cassidy Freeman, Justin Hartley, and Callum Blue.

aintitcool.com reports information that at Comic-Con, Smallville will present pre-Superman suit which Tom will wear when he is the Red Blue Blur in the upcoming season. This, of course, is just a rumor, at the moment as well as a rumors of a Smallville movie titled: "Metropolis" (previously posted here: Smallville the MOVIE?). Smallville's panel at Comic-Con will be on Sunday, July 26th.
