The Girl In The Park To Be Distributed by Halcyon Pictures

According to a recent news report from the 2008 Cannes Film Festival, Chris Coen’s new UK distributor Halcyon Pictures has got off to a promising start by acquiring Julie Delpy’s The Countess, a tale of the 16th-century Hungarian serial killer Countess Bathory that stars La Delpy, William Hurt and Daniel Bruhl.

Halcyon also got out its wallet for The Girl in the Park, a small mystery starring Kate Bosworth and Sigourney Weaver that has been knocking around the markets for a while and was directed by the Pulitzer prize-winning playwright David Auburn (Proof).
