American Idol: Idol Gives Back - Top Ten Moments

Taken from Blender:

As far as charity shows go, the second annual Idol Gives Back was a business-like success. It was predictable (Seacrest mugs, Simon shrugs), corny (two Miley Cyrus performances), weepy (Bono narrating harrowing tales from Africa) and - every once and a while - genuinely inspiring (Mariah Carey making all other performers look foolish).

Here are our Top Ten moments from the broadcast (buy clips from the show here - c'mon, it's for the kids):

10. Jennifer Connelly letting her kids drink that dirty Central Park water while working on their state-of-the-art laptops. Electrical hazard! [watch]

9. Teri Hatcher's wonderfully absurd, ego-stroking cover of Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats." [watch]

8. Jimmy Kimmel to Simon: "You've got nipples the size of pepper mills." [watch]

7. The youngest Jonas Brother's "serious" face.

6. Ryan Seacrest saying "I've gotta go to the treadmill" after dancing for three seconds with the Idols. Funny because it's not true!

5. While watching Fergie do one-handed cartwheels during her performance with Heart we couldn't help thinking how she could've been the ultimate American Idol contestant. [watch]

4. Because the Exxon Mobile executive looked exactly as evil as he should.

3. Fifteen-year-old Miley Cyrus said being on American Idol was "the one thing I haven't had the chance to do yet" - a statement that's truer than it should be. [watch]

2. How David Spade didn't even try to be funny during his presenter bit.

1. Mariah Carey. Wow. Just wow. [watch]
