Aspen Plum reports that the Aspen Celebrity Downhill, a ski race benefit that raises money for the Aspen Youth Experience (AYE), landed in Aspen this past weekend (Feb. 29-March 1) and we couldn't have asked for more beautiful weather and a more fun event. The Downhill, which brings in 60-70 percent of AYE’s fund-raising budget, is crucial to their mission to empower and encourage teens across the country to reach.
In it's 12th year, the Downhill attracted a wide array of recognizable mugs such as Sal Masekela, Judge Joe Brown, Dean Cain, Jon Voight, Kate Walsh, and Marcia Gay Harden who raced (and snowplowed) through the gates on the Little Nell run on Aspen Mountain March 1. Plum was at the base of Aspen Mountain cheering on and talking with competitors during a special edition of The MorningNoon&Night Show.
