No Chloe Sullivan in Superman Comics

According to an interview with DC Executive Editor Dan Didio on Newsarama, “Smallville” character Chloe Sullivan (played on the CW hit by Allison Mack) will not be appearing in upcoming issues of Superman or Action Comics as previously had been announced here last December 2007. According to Didio: “Chloe [sic] is an exciting character on the television show, and we had hoped to work her into DC continuity, but unfortunately, the stars did not align properly, and even though we had announced it, she will not be appearing in any of the issues of Superman or Action Comics.”
