Photos: Henry Cavill and Zack Snyder at 'Man of Steel' Shanghai Premiere

Man of Steel's director Zack Snyder and star arrived at the 16th Shanghai International Film Festival Wednesday (June 19th) for China's premiere of the Man of Steel movie.

“All of our crew members are very excited about the [film festival], and we are delighted to share this film with you,” Synder said in a press release. Man of Steel is expected to perform well in China, an increasingly important market for Hollywood. Only 34 foreign films are allowed to premiere in mainland cinemas per year, and Man of Steel is the only major Hollywood film to be screened during the summer session of the Shanghai International Film Festival.

The excitement of this movie was what go me motivated to compile all of this. Can't believe it's been a long journey and the movie is finally here! Today is the US/UK wide release day for Man of Steel! Go see it! I saw it in a Wal-mart early screening last night! Loved it! I thought it was super, epic, and just amazing! Worth the wait for me! I'll post my review of it here very soon. I'm going to see it again today in iMax 3D!

The world premiere took place at the Alice Tully Hall at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City, the World Premiere of "Man of Steel" had the film's cast and crew in attendance, with red carpet interviews set to take place from 6.00pm before the screening of the movie at 7.00pm.
