Teri Hatcher at the First Annual Noble Awards

Teri Hatcher attended and was honored for her charity work at the 1st Annual Noble Humanitarian Awards in Beverly Hilton Hotel, Beverly Hills, CA. Sunday night, October 18, 2009.

Desperate Housewives star Teri Hatcher was also honoured for her work with the Children's Hospital Los Angeles.

"I think so often we don't know that our gestures matter," the actress told reporters.

"I think when you get involved in your local community charity you really do see you make a difference and it's empowering for you."
