Erica Durance still in Ecstasy?

Ecstasy has been on and off and almost shelved, but looks like Erica Durance is still attached to star in this film project.

Here's the latest info on Erica's attachment of this project...

According to JacksonHoltorp (over @ DTED), who visited the blog website of the film (just google ecstasy film) and was provided with an email address to contact.

JacksonHoltorp asked if Erica was still involved with the film and if the movie was still happening. Apparently one of the studios funding the film went bankrupt but now a new studio is providing new financing.

Here was JacksonHoltorp question:

I was wondering if you had any idea of when the release date of the film would be and what's the current situation?

I've heard rumors that the studio went bankrupt and the film got shelved any of this true or just speculation?

Are actors like Billy Boyd and Erica Durance still attached?

Hope to hear from you soon,

Jackson

Here's Rob's reply

Hi Jackson,

Erica is signed on still and Billy is still interested. He is currently reading the new draft. We are work through his deal.

A studio (SOUTHWEST FILM STUDIOS and the founder ALEX SWAN based in Cornwall, England) was involved in the financing went bankrupt (you can search the story on google) and we found alternate backers. But no the project was not "shelved" just being placed with alternative financing.

Thanks,

Rob
