Erica Durance is nominated for a Gemini Award

The 2008 nominations for The 23rd Annual Gemini Awards (the annual awards for the Best of Canadian Television) has just been announced earlier today and Erica Durance was nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Dramatic Program or Mini-Series category for her role of Isabel, a 30 year-old successful woman who grew tired of receiving pressure to get married, so she married herself in the Lifetime TV movie, I Me Wed. Her category will be presented during the Gemini Broadcast Gala on Friday, Nov. 28, 2008.

Her co-star Cara Pifko who played Isabel's best friend, Amy is also nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Supporting Role in a Dramatic Program or Mini-Series category.


The main Gemini Awards show will take place in Toronto on November 28.
