Teri Hatcher was a presenter at the 2008 TV Land Awards held at Barker Hanger on Sunday in Santa Monica, California.Teri presented The Innovator Award to the hit 80s and 90s sitcom Roseanne. The Innovator Award, “is given to a show that carved out new territory, redefined elements of the genre and opened new pathways for others to follow.”
Roseanne tackled subjects that many other popular shows at the time avoided, such as alcoholism, drug use, 0besity, feminism, domestic violence, and homosexuality.
