Based on Ben Mezrich's 2002 nonfiction best-seller Bringing Down the House, 21 is the tale of an MIT whiz (Sturgess) who, with the help of a math prof (Spacey), learns to cheat at blackjack by counting cards. Naturally, he heads to Vegas to make some cash. Bosworth is one of the math nerds in his card crew, and Fishburne plays the casino heavy who catches on to the kid's shenanigans.
