2014 Oscar Nominations: 10 Nominations for AMERICAN HUSTLE including Best Actress for Amy Adams and 5 Nominations for HER!

The 86th Academy Award Nominations has just been announced earlier this morning and Amy Adams and  her 2 films American Hustle and Her were nominated for a total of 15 Oscars including a Best Actress (Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role) nomination for Amy in American Hustle. The 2014 Oscars will be on March 2nd, 2014 on ABC starting at 8:00 PM ET and will be hosted by Ellen Degeneres. 
A big congratulations and best of luck to Amy Adams (for her Best Actress nomination!), Michael Wilkinson (Best Costume Designer for American Hustle), Charles Roven (Best Picture for American Hustle) and Amy's 2 films: American Hustle with 10 Oscar Nominations and Her with 5 Academy Award Nominations!

Her American Hustle Best Actress nomination is Amy Adams's 5th Oscar Nomination and her 1st Best Actress nomination with 4th Best Supporting Actress nomination (The Master, The Fighter, Doubt, and Junebug) and no win yet. We shall see come March 2nd, if Miss Adams will finally win her first Academy Award...

Amy Adams (a big congrats to her and Man of Steel producer Charles Roven, one of the producers of AH) and her new film, American Hustle (with Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper, and Jennifer Lawrence) won 3 Golden Globe Awards (out of their 7 nominations) including Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical for Amy this past Sunday, January 12th. Amy's other recently released film Her scored a Golden Globe win (of its 3 nominations) for Best Screenplay for writer/director Pike Jonze. See full list of 2014 Golden Globe Winners here.

Also, American Hustle received two SAG nominations including Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture which includes Amy as well. The SAG awards will be held this weekend (Sunday, January 18th). In the BAFTA awards, it scored 8 nominations including Best Film and Best Actress nomination for Amy. The BAFTAs will be held February 16th. This Thursday (January 16th) the Oscars will be announced and it'll be held March 2nd. Best of luck to Amy and her American Hustle and Her films!

Watch: Amy Adams in the trailers for her upcoming films 'American Hustle' and 'Her'

Two of Amy Adams's several upcoming films: American Hustle (with Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper, and Jennifer Lawrence) and Her (with Joaquin Phoenix, Rooney Mara, and Scarlett Johansson) has trailers that were released recently.

In American Hustle, Amy plays the character named Sydney Prosser, which opens in theaters on Christmas Day (December 25th) and in Her, Amy plays the character named...Amy. It opens in
limited release on December 18th (originally November 20th) and wide release on January 10th, 2014.
