Tom Welling is interested in a 'Smallville' movie

OnTheRedCarpet.com interviewed Tom Welling during Monday's 2nd Annual SAG Foundation Golf Classic, where he talked about his experience on Smallville and the fact that he'd be up for a Smallville movie if they ever decided to make one.

The actor also revealed that an idea for a "Smallville" movie had been tossed around in the earlier seasons of the show. "We talked about that between, I think it was season three and four, when the characters were moving from high school to what will be college," Welling said when asked about a "Smallville" film. "We played with the idea and what we found was there wasn't time."

Welling also remarked that he's a big fan of the up-coming "Man of Steel" film and can't wait to see what they do.
