"Smallville" will not return on January 22nd as originally planned, due to the CW's participation in the "Hope For Haiti" telethon taking place on that date. The CW confirmed that "Disciple", the episode that was scheduled to air on that day, will now air a week later on Friday, January 29th. The 2-hour "Absolute Justice" will still air on February 5th as planned. However "Warrior" (which was originally scheduled to air on January 29th) will be pushed back to a different date (yet to be determined).

Martha Kent Returning to Smallville?
According to TheFutonCritic.com, "Warrior" will now air on February 12th. It was originally supposed to air on January 29th, but now that "Disciple" has been pushed to that date due to the "Hope for Haiti" telethon on January 22nd, and with "Absolute Justice" airing on February 5th, "Warrior" will air on February 12th.
EW's "Ausiello Files" has discovered that Annette O'Toole will be returning to the role of Martha Kent on "Smallville" later this season.
- Producers are still working out the exact timing of Martha's reappearance, but a Smallville
insider tells me it'll most likely fall during May sweeps. That same
source hints that the mother-son reunion will be rocked by an
"unexpected surprise" or two.
O'Toole last appeared in season 6 when Martha moved to Washington to become a U.S. senator.

Great Caesar's Ghost! Perry Returns to "Smallville"
EW's Michael Ausiello claims that Michael McKean is also coming back to "Smallville" to reprise his
role of Perry White.
- "We're thrilled to have Michael back on the show," says
Peterson, "and to be able to link it with the anticipated return of
Martha Kent is just a phenomenal way to gear up to the end of the
season."
Peterson also reveals that the iconic character's latest trip through
Smallville will bring him "closer to his destiny" than ever before,
adding, "We finally get to see the legendary introduction between Perry
White and the intrepid Lois Lane."
O'Toole and McKean (who, as you know, are married in real life) will appear in this season's penultimate episode (No. 21).
The CW has released the official (spoiler-filled) description for the 2-hour "Absolute Justice" tele-movie.
