Smallville S8 Update: TV Guide Scan and upcoming S8 Episode Schedule

The December 8-14, 2008 "What The Keck" column in TV Guide magazine includes an article titled "Big Plans for Smallville" in which executive producer Darren Swimmer discusses plans for a possible 9th season of "Smallville." Also, he reveals that "actor availability" might get in the way of a ninth season next year, despite successful ratings for the show this season (8).

Speaking of Smallville and the rest of Season 8...


SV/Clois Fans: As you all know by now, no new Smallville episode tonight and the show is currently in a month long holiday hiatus. Smallville will return in January 15, 2009 with an all-new episodes for Season 8 starting with Episode 8.11 - Legion. Unfortunately, for us Lois Lane/Erica Durance fans, we won't see Lois till Episode 8.15 - Infamous, which won't be airing sometime in early to mid-February. So, that's a long 4 weeks of MIA Lois in the upcoming 4 new SV episodes.


Here's the schedule for Smallville's Spring 2009 (5 7 new episodes so far)...
